DON BURT, Professional Horseman

One of the leading professional horsemen in the U.S. –trainer, exhibitor, judge for over 45 years.  He judged over 40 horse shows a year for those 45 years including the nationals and world championships in every major breed of horse.

As an author, he has written books titled: “Winning with Arabian Horses”, “Winning with the American Quarter horse”,  “Horses for Other Heroes”, and "The Horseman's Guide to the Meaning of Life". As a columnist for the Horse and Rider Magazine, and the American Quarter Horse Journal, he is acknowledged for his writing with an award from the American Horse Publications –the 2003 Equine Industry Vision Award.

Mr. Burt has lectured throughout the U.S. at universities, Judge’s seminars, breed associations, workshops and clinics throughout the world.

His consulting business specializes in the planning and development of equestrian facilities and has served clients throughout the U.S.

He has serviced the horse industry in many capacities:
